A deep cleaning cycle uses more ink but is more effective at clearing stubborn clogs. You can initiate a deep cleaning from your computer's printer utility software (usually accessed via 'Printers & Scanners' in Control Panel/System Preferences). Navigate to 'Printer Properties' or 'Preferences', then to the 'Maintenance' tab, and select 'Deep Cleaning'. Follow the on-screen prompts. After performing deep cleaning, print a nozzle check pattern to verify the improvement. If still not satisfactory, repeat the deep clean once or twice, allowing some time between cycles.
