Pixelated or blurry dots usually stem from resolution issues: 1. **Pixelated Dots:** This often occurs if your 'Frequency' (Bitmap method) or 'Max. Radius' (Color Halftone filter) settings are too low for your image's resolution, or if you're viewing the image zoomed in too far. For sharp dots, always start with a high-resolution image (300 DPI or higher for print). Ensure your dot settings are scaled appropriately for your document's size. 2. **Blurry Dots:** This can happen if the base image is low-resolution, if a blur filter was accidentally applied after dot creation, or if you're using a low-resolution dot pattern. Check your image resolution. If using Smart Objects, review your Smart Filters for any unintentional blurs. Always view your image at 100% zoom to accurately assess dot clarity, as other zoom levels can sometimes make effects appear softer.
