If I delete a blog, will it affect any custom domains I've connected to it?

Deleting the blog will disconnect the custom domain. You'll need to manage the domain through your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap). The domain itself isn't deleted, just the connection to Blogger. You may need to update DNS records if you intend to use the domain with another service.
