Within MakeCode, try refreshing the browser window. Clear your browser's cache and cookies. Ensure you're using a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). If the problem persists, try downloading the .hex file and flashing it using a different method, like the Micro Bit online flashing tool.
